This photo was taken in a dry spell: October 20th, 2008. To get there: Go north on Georgia 60 from Suches. After you cross over into Fannin County, look for the Cooper Creek Store around milepost 2. Turn right across from the store on Cooper Creek Road. Continue on Cooper Creek Road for 2.9 miles. Turn left on forrest highway 264. Continue until it ends in about 1/10 mile. Hike upstream along the trail that runs parallel to the creek. It's about a 10 minute walk to the falls. There is a wide pool at the base that has an interesting dead tree/driftwood in it. There is a path going up the left of the falls, which is where this photo was taken.
